Microwave Polarization

An antenna that is "vertically" or "polar" polarized and visible from many different polar-polarized satellite arrays must be aligned with all of them, which means its dipoles must be oriented in the polar direction. If it is some X degrees north, it must be tilted X degrees towards the south, neither towards local vertical nor tilted towards the south. Otherwise, arrays to the east and west will "see" it at the wrong polarity, and it will couple to horizontally polarized arrays.
