Unmasking Europa
The Search for Life on Jupiter's Ocean Moon

I borrowed this book from the library. I hoped to learn more about astrobiology. Instead, the book argues that the ice is thin on Europa (meters?), as opposed to the majority opinion (kilometers). Too much arguing, too little data to argue about. It will be at least a decade before new planetary probes provide unequivocal evidence either way; until then, opinions are no substitute for data.
